My story
I begun learning about Ayurveda, nutrition and the quality of life during the pandemic. Fitness and diet has always been important to me but I wanted to be qualified to share the knowledge I somewhat already knew. It was innate within me that living in line with nature and using herbs for ailments is a key. I dived deep to get a better understanding committing my time to meditation, yoga and breathwork practises during the 'lock down' I locked in.. I used to be a big party go-er but learning to reconnect with my body and my mind started to change that. I seeked out more wholesome connections and activities to care for my body and spent a Friday evening at my first womens circle, drinking a superfood named Cacao and spent the night dancing and laughing and feeling the upmost sense of love and compassion for myself and those in the room all of whom were strangers and I was sober. I wanted to be able to share this with others and create spaces for people to be themselves in their all; in every capacity: The beautiful, the messy, the vulnerable, the open and honest so I spent my weekends learning about holding space for others, so that I can share the same.

When I decided to do my yoga teacher training I wasn't sure I would ever want to teach I just knew the importance it has in my life from holding me in some of my darker days as well as being an incredible way to keep fit, gain strength and flexibility and hence wanted to grow my knowledge. Equally 3 weeks in the sunshine I was sold. I qualified at Suryaliya in Spain and loved it so much I returned to help assist on the next yoga teacher training. I travelled Spain and Portugal for 3 months and had itchy feet to see and know more. I read the book Breath by James Nestor whilst travelling and wanted to expand my knowledge on one of the most fundamental organs we have: our lungs are incredible and with the knowing of how to control your breath, to control your body and your mind I was hooked. I searched for an in person breathwork training and it led me to Bali - I enrolled onto the only in person ice bath and breathwork facilitator course I could find By Alex Tsuk and until then did not understand the meaning of an intensive training. It really was Intense. A container of space held to unravel all of the things that make us US to take you straight to the core and stare yourself in your most raw and vulnerable existence. A breathwork training isn't for the faint hearted if you are wanting to really dig deep and know yourself better then ever then its a life changing experience. I come away with friends for life, which was in all honesty a bit of miracle seeing as I said not so much during the training which is very unlike me. Returning from Bali I had a whole new perspective on the world and after having held a Cacao ceremony at the retreat I was contacted from one of the Women I had met during my training asking if I would like to assist on her retreats in Bournemouth, UK. I have since helped on many including the most recent transformative 10 day retreat back in Bali.

As well as holding my own retreats in my home town Colchester; I have taught weekly yoga, meditation and breathwork classes and Cacao ceremonies likewise in my for now home, Bristol.
My Aim
I want to share the knowledge I have gained over the last 5 years. In how to live more in alignment with your own nature, the seasons and how to become more in balance in all aspects of your life. This can be through many different elements such as looking at your routine, diet, exercise, sleep habits and different holistic practises such as yoga, movement and breathwork.
